MCR Fashion Industry hosted an exclusive Influencer Dinner & swimwear presentation in collaboration with Ezili Swim showcasing must-have beachwear pieces. The evening also included tutorials from global beauty giants Make Up Forever & Kiehl’s UK & Ireland

MCR Fashion Industry joined forces with the luxury Manchester based swimwear brand Ezili Swim and in true style, hosted an exclusive and intimate dinner at Neighbourhood for stylish bloggers and influencers to enjoy.
The event was set up in a secluded area of the Spinningfields restaurant, with a cohesive and on trend décor theme of marble and blush pinks. The addition of beautiful personalised blooms from Sass Flowers was an immediate talking point with our blogger babes, as they took to social media to share the gorgeous aesthetic of the evening. As the bloggers sipped on delicious Neighbourhood cocktails, Ally Armitage, the founder of Ezili Swim, presented them with the stunning swimwear designs from the latest collection, as beautiful models strutted their stuff up and down the catwalk. The swimwear was a far cry from your usual high street offering, as Ally explained: “It bridges the gap between day time and night time swimwear so it’s for your pool parties, your day drinking and your beach bars, it’s a little bit more glam than your normal everyday swimwear that you’d sunbathe in.” Each piece of swimwear was unique, as flattering silhouettes were adorned with current trends that we’ve seen on the catwalks this season, such as fringing, khaki colour ways and eye catching metallics.

The bloggers were certainly impressed with the latest Ezili Swim collection as Georgia Foulkes – Hartley said: “I think Ezili Swim have created a great transition between wearable swimwear and swimwear that you would want to be photographed in. I’m going on holiday next month and I’ll definitely be wearing some Ezili pieces.” The cover ups in the collection can even be worn on nights out, which shows the designs are incredibly versatile and aren’t restricted to the sandy beaches and warm climates of the likes of Miami and Ibiza.

After the presentation, Neighbourhood provided our bloggers with delicious sushi platters and more cocktails before the talented team from Make Up For Ever in Manchester demonstrated an in-depth tutorial of the look they created on the models for the Ezili Swim catwalk.

Katie Crook, Business Manager for Make Up For Ever Manchester explained the look they created to coincide with the ethos of Ezili Swim: “The look is very fresh and summery to keep in line with the swimwear brand, we’ve used all our bestselling products, such as the Ultra HD Foundation which makes the skin look flawless. We’ve done a light shimmer on the eye and then a bold lip to tie in some colour to the look.”

Make Up For Ever are renowned for their long lasting products that you can build up to achieve a fuller coverage, something that is perfect for long days partying at the beach. Finely milled eye shimmers, subtle contour shades and vibrant, long lasting liquid lipsticks are the perfect products to take with you on holiday to ensure you are looking super glam all day long.

Fashion and lifestyle blogger Sarah Cant explained how she was really impressed with the make up look that was created: “The make up has been gorgeous, I’ve never tried anything from Make Up For Ever before so it’s been really nice to see a demonstration and see all the products in action.”

The evening was another huge success for the MCR Fashion Industry, as the bloggers went away with goody bags from Make Up For Ever and Kiehl’s, along with ideas and inspiration for Ezili Swim looks they can sport on their next beach getaway.
